I saw the funniest/strangest thing the other day on my way to the airport in Billings, MT....

I was driving through a bunch of small towns in Wyoming, and I came to one called Frannie (population 180). I was just looking around at all the cute little houses when all of a sudden I came upon a bar, but not just any old bar. This one had a drive-thru! Can anyone explain that? I honestly laughed to myself for about 10 minutes till I got to the spot of road where I had cell service so I could call and tell people about it.

What a great idea... Let's open a bar, and then encourage people to drive-thru so they can proceed to drink in their cars, and then probably drive them home. I wish I had a picture, but I was trying to catch a flight. Maybe on the way home.

This is one of those fun things about being married that nobody tells you about.

7:00am. We are just waking up.

I roll over after with quarter-opened eyes. Dana is smiling at me, looking semi-awake.

She looks into my eyes, and says in the softest most nice "Dana-voice"....

"Sour Cream."

I look at her confused. "What?" I ask.

She answers.... "oh....I don't know." She turns over. And falls right back asleep.

Hurray for sleep talking when you seem wide-awake.

My First Rodeo!

Our first week here in Cody has been great. Nick has been working hard and I am adapting to having lots more time on my hands. Since we're only here for a few weeks I'm not going to get a job til we get to China. I have read a lot of books, watched a lot of Netflix, and walked all over the town. It's not too hard keeping the house clean when I'm the only person there all day, so I have been getting really creative.

So far we have seen the Cody Mural and gone to the rodeo. Which was my first rodeo. It was really entertaining. I couldn't believe there were kids under 12 riding bulls. CRAZY! They were super tough. We've also spent lots of time relaxing after the crazy week we had moving. We even finally got to go see Inception. I think before that I hadn't seen a movie in the theaters since Christmas. It's nice having time to do things.

Tomorrow we are going to Yellowstone with Nick's company. Hopefully we'll have good weather and some good pictures. Just a side note, but the weather here changes so fast! It will be storming like crazy one minute and then sunny 20 minutes later. Kind of fun!

After a hectic week of packing, and lots of help from my mom we got everything moved out and cleaned up in our apartment. We left early this morning to drive out to Cody, WY. We are living in a little vacation rental bungalow for the next month til we find out how long we are going to be here. Hopefully we will be out in China sooner rather than later!
