Vegas vacation
We're going down to Vegas this weekend and I can't wait! It will be good to get out of the cold/snow for a bit. We'll be busy while we're down there (changing my name on my drivers license, starting an LLC, etc.) but it will be a nice break from school.
The main purpose of our trip is to go to Stephen's missionary farewell. I can't believe he leaves in just a few weeks! I'm sad, but also super excited for him...those Russians are pretty lucky they get him for 2 years. He enters the MTC Feb. 10 and will be there for 3 months. YIKES! I'm glad I only had to learn Spanish. Anyway, now I'm going to have to get back in the habit of letter writing for the next 2 years. Stephen, I'm apologizing in advance for any weeks it may slip my mind.

1 month!
We've been married for a month now. It's crazy how fast time has gone by....
This month we:
- moved into our first apartment
- half-way decorated our apartment (the rest is a work in progress...pictures are still on the way soon)
- started our last semester at BYU
- did homework (especially watching the lame ACC 200 dvd's for me)
- returned a lot of wedding gifts [not yours :)]
- planned our budget (no fun)
- worked, worked, worked (to stick to the budget)
- watched a lot of Jersey Shore (Nick's new favorite show)
- washed a lot of dishes by hand (I've never lived without a dishwasher before. It's not too bad as long as we're only cooking for 2)
- ate lots of grilled cheese sandwiches (they are so good and so easy to make... I am learning to cook real food too though)
- played lots of games (Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly Electronic Banking, and Scrabble are our favorites)
- and laughed a lot
The first month has been fun and we are looking forward to many, many more.

Review of Week 4 as a husband
Being a husband isn't that hard. I'm actually kinda dominating that role right now.
Thus far, my responsibilities include(but are not exclusive to):
#1- Washing dishes.
#2- Winning Bread for 37 hours this week.
#3- Hanging things on walls with nails.
#3.5- Trying to hang some things on walls. Failing. Leaving lots of drywall holes to prove it.
#3.6- Fixing said drywall holes with white toothpaste.
#4- Assembling new bookshelves.
#5- Programming no fewer than 2 universal remotes.
#6- Playing Call of Duty 2.
#6.2- Wearing a Xbox Headset and allowing Dana to mock me.
#7- Cooking meals
#8- Eating meals
#9- Trash removal
#9.9- Throwing boxes off the balcony for Dana to throw away.
#10- Trips to target to return things
#11- Trips to target to buy things
#12- Moving Couches
#13- Being tired
#14- Laying on the couch as Dana cooks
#15- Resting while Dana cleans
#16- Writing blog
Note on #6.2- Headsets are absolutely necessary for proper online play.
Appendage to Note on #6.2- As the case with most women, Dana may or may not be surprised how much of a nerd she married.
Note on #9- To date, I'm 100% positive Dana has removed more trash from our house to than me.
Note on #3.5- To calm down for this frustrating event, i watched an episode of Cheaters and an half episode of myth busters (The sinking ship one.).
Note on #10- We did not return your gift.
Note on #2- Dana wins bread too.
Note on #13- Thats what i'm doing right now at 6:44am. At work.
Note on #14- This amounts to me watch Cops on channel 21. I have watched no less than 4 hours of Cops since moving into our new apartment.

Cold
I do not like it one bit. Utah is freezing right now and I'm having trouble getting motivated to leave our apartment. My class attendance is seriously going to start suffering if it doesn't warm up soon. The only good thing I can think of about the cold is that we got a cocomotion as a wedding gift and it makes pretty amazing hot chocolate. I think I'll go have some right now!
Pictures of our house are coming soon...I just have a little more cleaning/organizing to do.

Moving
I decided I really don't like moving. My family was all really helpful, but now I'm in the process of putting everything away and it's going pretty slowly. It's hard to get motivated to start, but then again I'm tired of tripping over bags and digging through things... Also I know myself and if I don't get it taken care of before school starts on Monday then I will be living out of boxes for months, maybe until we move again!
Anyway, on to a happier subject. Our wedding was wonderful. I couldn't stop smiling all day long.
Everything went so smoothly and was so beautiful. Thanks to everyone that was there to celebrate with us and to everyone else that sent happy thoughts and prayers our way. Hopefully sometime not to far away we'll have pictures to share.
Panama was also amazing. We had clear sunny weather everyday. We got to go on some awesome tours, snorkel a lot, surf just a little, eat good food and sleep in! I highly recommend Panama to anyone looking for someplace new to travel. Just remember your bug repellent because my legs are looking pretty funky right now.

I'm getting married in the morning!
I've had the tune from that song from My Fair Lady going through my head all day...So crazy! We made it 13o+ days. Let me tell you back in August I thought this day would never get here, but time has gone by surprisingly fast with school, work and wedding planning. Thanks to everyone that came out to be with us tomorrow! Hopefully we'll have pictures to put up for the rest of you sometime soon...
Oh, and Merry Christmas since I'll be in Panama and won't be able to tell anyone!
